Folks,

Tomorrow I head West but not as far West as we all might hope. I will be visiting old friends and familiar faces in Columbia, and then I venture to Warrensburg. I am excited, of course, for this trip is going to last about two weeks and will be my chance to evade all responsibility for a change and to be somewhat of a local for a few days. The Skate Rat inside of me is elated. If you live out in the direction I am headed, then I have been thinking joyously about you and the time we will be sharing together. I am very grateful to know that there is a community of people waiting for me anytime I feel like leaving town and my everyday routine behind. Until tomorrow boys…
