As I’m sure many of you now know, I am no longer affiliated with Plan Nine. I will spare you all the story (most of you have already heard it anyway) and just say that after two years of abuse my relationship with the “higher ups” of Plan Nine could no longer be mended. That is simply the most fitting way for me to put it. Though this news initially brought anger and resentment into my heart, I want it to be known that this is truly the greatest thing that has ever happened to me, both for my personal life and my skateboarding. Thanks to everyone who called or messaged me over the past few days. The only thing that ever made that job worth it was being able to give back to the skateboarders I’ve grown up with, and I appreciate everyone’s support. I am embracing the next few months of my life and looking forward eagerly to finally being able to enjoy the community of skateboarders I am surrounded by. I cannot wait to begin skateboarding again with all of you.
Sincerely and forever and always,
P.S. Jake Miller will now be taking your offers for free sessions in exchange for Red Bulls, McDonalds Fries, or whatever else you kids can scrounge up. Here we are enjoying a glass of bubbly at his surprise 21st birthday party, probably the most epic photo ever taken at the park.
