Today marks the end of an era. My beloved #shitside is slated for demolition. Shitside was where I actually learned how to shoot skateboarding. The bridge was such a positive thing for skateboarding in St. Louis and I’m eternally grateful for all those involved. Those who came, those who poured, those who bled themselves dry letting me shoot them, those who brought the good times and those strangers that became my friends. I got one last session in when I was back home and I’m sitting here today reminiscing of all the good times.

When I was in St. Louis…shitside was my home. I lived about a mile away for a better portion of a year. I skated it or passed under to say hi before coming home from work every single day. It brought me a lot closer to a lot of people. I had some of the most enjoyable sessions of my life under that bridge. I learned more about skateboarding and photography under that bridge than anywhere else and I am so sad to see it go. So here it is. My shitside photodump.
