Grosso told me that he got robbed at gun point in St. Louis once.  He was a hero of mine that became a friend.  I got to travel a bit with him over the last few years working on the Loveletters to Skateboarding with the Six Stair crew.  He hooked me up with boards and let me skate his vert ramp.

Phelper said Grosso would never get the cover of Thrasher.  Both of them passed before the big guy could get it.  I’m going to miss the Grossman but I’ll always rep Team Grosso.
